Collaboration with Outlook Exchange and Google Calendar shortcuts

Users of the collaboration platform Citrix Podio should now be able to benefit from a personalized calendar with customizable view and filter options as well as connectivity with Outlook Exchange and Google Calendar.

Podio is an open collaboration platform for teams that, according to Citrix, integrates with various file-sharing and content-storage services such as Citrix Sharefile and cloud-based business solutions such as Citrix GoToMeeting. Citrix has enhanced the calendar features of Podio:

Outlook Exchange and Google Calendar: Users can connect their Podio calendar to their primary Outlook Exchange or Google calendars, mirroring all mission-critical Podio projects, deadlines, meeting and event information, such as GoToMeeting dial-up data.

Personalized Podio Calendar: Customizable view options include a new slider that allows users to switch between personal and team events, or to map a combination of both.

Synchronize workspace-specific calendars and events: Users can subscribe to apps or app content within the workspaces and include them as deadlines or events in their primary external Outlook Exchange or Google Calendar.

With Citrix Podio, users can set up so-called workspaces. There they can collaborate with colleagues in a social media environment in individually desired ways. To personalize their workspaces, users can access and customize free apps from the Podio App Market. In addition, there is the possibility to create new apps to support specific workflows.
